Communities and Forests Restoration Project
Empowering families and communities to build healthy habits, grow sustainable food, and have outdoor spaces to practice Mindfulness to heal the planet, together.
Our mission is to create and/or support community gardens in neglected and underserved areas to combat food insecurity, promote food sovereignty, improve air quality, and revitalize communities through native plant and tree planting, habitat restoration, and organized clean-up initiatives. These gardens will serve as multifunctional green spaces where residents can grow fresh produce, participate in wellness activities such as yoga and meditation, and gather in safe, healing environments that foster community connection and environmental stewardship. We will focus on communities disproportionately impacted by climate hazards, industrial pollution, displacement, natural disasters, and systemic neglect, while
also supporting farmers in developing healthier and more abundant crops. Through
community readiness and resilience efforts, environmental restoration projects, and
volunteer-led cleanups of urban and rural green spaces and waterways, we work to reduce pollution, help protect wildlife habitats, remove invasive species, restore biodiversity, and create healthier, and more sustainable communities.
