Fiscal Sponsorship

As a fiscal sponsor, GSDC acts as an umbrella organization offering 501(c)(3) status to existing or new community groups, referred to as either projects or affiliates. Benefits to being a sponsored group include the following:

Ability to solicit tax-deductible donations, host fundraisers and events, apply for and offer grants, and much more (projects and affiliates)

Complete banking and financial services (projects)

Tax filing services (projects)

Financial oversight to confirm adherence to 501(c)(3) guidelines (affiliates)

Insurance (projects; affiliates for additional fee)
